On Sunday 6th September, Rushden’s popular annual Dog Show (named “Bark in the Park”) was held in the Walled Garden in Hall Park.
It is an opportunity for dogs of all ages and types to compete in a comprehensive range of classes. There was even a fancy dress competition for owners and dogs which was judged by the Town Mayor, Cllr. Janet Pinnock.
The weather was glorious and the dogs well-behaved.
The event was sponsored by Gladwell’s Pet and Country Store.
It was free to attend and watch, but owners had to pay to have their pets entered into the competitions..
