On Thursday 7th May 2026, a new rector was inducted at St. Peters Church in Midland Road, Rushden.
The Venerable Simon Heathfield was instituted by the Bishop of Peterborough, the Right Reverend Debbie Sellin, and inducted by the Archdeacon of Northampton, the Venerable Richard Ormston.
St Peters had been without a rector for more than a year, and there was great pleasure that the role had now been filled. Nene Herald welcomes The Venerable Simon Heathfield to his new post wishing him a long and happy association with the church and the community.
