Late last year, Cllr. Bob Tillyer died from cancer. It was especially sad, because it had been Bob’s ambition to get elected to Rushden Town Council (RTC). He felt that he had a lot to give to the community.
Regrettably, Bob did not get a chance. Very shortly after he was elected in May 2025, he was diagnosed with cancer.
A by-election will now be held to fill Bob’s vacant seat on RTC for the Rushden South ward.
The vote will be on 19th March 2026.
