England’s foxes have moved into the cities. In urban areas, their population density is often ten times that in rural areas.
And it’s not just the cities.
Rushden has its own population of foxes. They mostly scavenge during the night, just after dark. If your security lights come on around 8pm or 9pm, then it’s a good chance that it’s a fox.
Recently, they have become more brave and they are coming out in daylight.
The attached photos show Rushden foxes foraging in a back garden in the middle of the day, in the middle of the Town.
They should not be approached, but they are fun to watch.
