Phoenix is an organisation that utilises spare or unwanted consumer goods and passes them on to where they are needed in order to prevent landfill.
It is run by volunteers on a not-for profit basis. The Resource Centre in Rushden is based in Portland Road. It offers resources to members for a £15 fee.
It supports local schools, play groups, community and disadvantaged groups.
They have recently had a revamp and are ready for new challenges.
