On Tuesday 14th April, the Reform UK councillors on North Northants Council (NNC) met for their Group’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). As the main Group on NNC, the Leader of Reform is also the Leader of the Council.
At the meeting, it has been reported that a vote was held on the Leadership of their Group, and that Cllr. Eddie McDonald challenged Cllr. Martin Griffiths for the Leadership of the Group.
Cllr. Martin Griffiths won the vote and he therefore remains Leader of the Reform UK group of councillors and of NNC for the coming municipal year.
Cllr. Graham Cheatley has become NNC’s new Deputy Leader. He is currently the Executive member for Finance, Efficiency and Change. He will retain this important responsibility alongside his new role as Deputy Leader of the Council.
Cllr. Chris Kellett is the new Executive Member for Adults and Health Partnerships.
