Irthlingborough Bus Services

Cuts have been made to bus services for Irthlingborough without warning or consultation.

The changes were only revealed when notices appeared on the windows of some buses, particularly some for the No 48 and No. 50 routes.

The result was that some passengers were caught out and waited for buses that were never going to arrive.

A public meeting was held on the 17th of October, at the Community Centre, Irthlingborough.

At the meeting, it was disclosed that the 48 and 50 buses would no longer take passengers directly from Crow Hill to Rushden, Rushden Lakes or Higham Ferrers.

It had an immediate impact on Crow Hill bus travellers, as some were unable to get to work or school.
