Rushden Firework Display

Rushden’s annual firework display took place on 8th November in Hall Park.

Over 8,000 people attended and saw a stunning display of the art.

It was opened by Cllr. Gill Mercer, Rushden’s Town Mayor.

.

The flashes and bangs were accompanied by music from the shows.

It kicked off with “White Lightning” from Grease, and continued with songs from Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera and others.

It was the 57th annual display organised by the volunteers from Nene Valley Scouts. The compere, Nathan Godby, asked for others to come forward and help with future displays and with scouting in general. More help is always needed.
